Bulbul: Photo Vault by Code

Bulbul is a private photo and file vault where the code you enter chooses which space opens.

Most lock apps put everything behind one password. Bulbul is different: a text code, pattern, or numeric code can each open a separate space. There is no master vault, no exposed vault list, and no single password that reveals everything.

Every code opens its own space
- Use one code for family photos, another for work files, and another for receipts or private notes.
- Pin a Home Screen widget to a specific vault and tab, then jump straight to Files, Browser, or Camera.
- Save YouTube shares as .url shortcuts inside the right vault, so important videos stay with the right project or context.
- Create decoy spaces naturally. Every space is first-class.

Everything stays inside Bulbul
- File manager: folders, documents, images, PDFs — list and grid views.
- Markdown editor: write notes inside a vault, then flip to a clean reader mode.
- Camera: photos and videos save directly into the active vault, never to your camera roll. Burst-style multi-shot included.
- Built-in browser: each vault has its own private session.
- Share extension: send files and links into the right vault directly from other apps.

Security that respects how you actually work
- Optional Face ID / Touch ID gate before a vault opens.
- iCloud sync is per-vault. You decide which spaces stay strictly on-device.
- Escape Action: respond to a trigger (such as a shake) by closing the vault instantly.
- Export backups as password-protected archives when needed.

Important
- A forgotten code cannot be recovered. That vault is, by design, indistinguishable from one that never existed. This is the security model — not a bug.
- All data lives on your device and the iCloud account you explicitly opt in to.
