Bullpen Pro

Bullpen Pro is the pitching coach's clipboard, reimagined. Track every pitch in every bullpen with the precision of a pro organization — and finally have the data to back up what your eyes are telling you.

Whether you coach high school ball, run a travel program, teach private lessons, or just want a better way to track your own kid's progress, Bullpen Pro turns each bullpen into actionable insight.

HOW IT WORKS

Build your roster. Pick a preset or build your own bullpen with any sequence of pitch types and target locations. Record alongside your pitchers in the pen, or assign bullpens for them to throw at home. Tap where each pitch actually went on a 5x5 strike zone grid — the zone flips automatically for lefties. Get heat maps, command scores and per-pitch metrics the moment you finish, and share a report card with one tap.

FOR COACHES

- Suggested Pens: a bullpen built automatically from each pitcher's recent misses
- Presets ready to throw (Standard 30, Quick 15, Fastball Command 20, Off-Speed Mix 24), or build, edit and duplicate your own
- Assign bullpens with instructions, repeat them weekly, and see when they're overdue
- Live in-session tracking with strike percentage, plus a Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activity
- Correct a mis-tapped pitch after the session
- Color-coded heat maps and shareable session reports
- Leaderboards ranking your staff by Command Score, strike %, spot %, miss distance, consistency and trend
- Each pitcher's best pitch, miss direction and improvement trend

PITCH TYPES SUPPORTED

4-Seam Fastball, 2-Seam Fastball, Cutter, Slider, Curveball, Changeup, Splitter, Sinker — color-coded throughout the app.

THE METRICS

Command Score is our composite rating — a single 0-100 number that weights spot percentage and strike percentage. Beyond that you get per-pitch-type breakdowns, average miss distance in strike zone cells, miss direction bias (which way a pitcher tends to miss), session-to-session consistency, and improvement trend across recent sessions.
