Buy FromFriends: Boycot helper

Buy From Friends – the world’s cutest boycott helper for informed buying decisions

Want to support certain countries for political, ethical, or personal reasons, while preferring not to support others? Simply scan the barcode of a food or cosmetic product before you buy it. We’ll show you where the company behind the brand is headquartered. To do so, we analyze complex corporate structures, not just the name on the label. Support countries you consider friendly and boycott those you don’t with every purchase!

WHY CHOOSE BUY FROM FRIENDS?
• No subscription trap: No subscription, no ads, just a fair prepaid balance you can top up.
• Charming interaction: A cute little animal instead of a boring results screen.
• Huge database: Scan over 2.4 million products.
• Data quality: Reported errors are reviewed and corrected by our editorial team.
• Privacy-focused: No ads / tracking, no photo uploads to any AI servers.
• Account: Registration is optional.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Choose the countries you want to support or boycott.
2. Scan the barcode of a food or cosmetic product.
3. See the result: brand, company behind the brand and country where it is headquartered (if available).
Please note: We identify the company (or corporate group) that ultimately owns the brand and show the country where it is headquartered – not the place of production or the origin of the raw materials.

NEUTRAL & DEVELOPED IN THE EU
Buy From Friends was developed in the EU – yet remains 100% neutral. Whether it’s Europe, Canada, the USA, Russia or Israel. YOU decide, based on YOUR own political or ethical values, who you support or boycott.
