C&S Hymns

C&S Hymns app is a compilation of frequently sung hymns in the Cherubim & Seraphim (C&S) Church.
• The compositions of Cherubim & Seraphim Church are documented in C&S Hymns app for posterity.
• Hymns can be selected by title (Yoruba or English), C&S hymn book number or by searching for words (lyrics) of the hymn.
• After installation, no internet access is required. All features are available offline.
• Yoruba lyrics are properly dotted for clarity of meaning, and diacritics (accents) are added, as necessary, to avoid ambiguity in the words.
• Listen to your favourite evergreen Christian hymns and Christmas carols on C&S Hymns app.
• The lyrics of hymns are accompanied by tunes and music scores (sheet music).
• Alternate tunes are provided as different tunes are used depending on congregation, season and occasion.
• C&S Hymns app comes with the choice of light or dark mode.
• All hymns have been traced back to the original composers and lyricists. Some hymns date as far back as the 4th, 6th and 7th centuries.
• The app contains 711 hymns; 568 of these are from C&S hymn books. The remaining 143 are hymns and Christmas carols from other hymn books and churches.
• There are 746 tunes in total, of which 88 are C&S original compositions and 8 are other Yoruba gospel tunes.
• The Author translated 170 Yoruba hymns into well-crafted English rhymed stanzas, and a few English hymns to Yoruba.
• 624 hymns have both English and Yoruba lyrics; remaining 87 have only English lyrics.
