Cairn: Daily Word

Cairn is the smallest possible journal. Each morning, you choose one word for the day. Each evening, if you like, you write one sentence about it. That's it.

A single word is a clear, simple way to set your intention and keep it close. Over a year, those words become a record of who you were and what mattered.

WHY ONE WORD
Most journals ask too much, so most journaling stops. Cairn asks for almost nothing: a word in the morning, a sentence at night. It's a habit you can actually keep.

YOUR INTENTION, IN VIEW
Your word follows you through the day, on your wrist, your Home Screen, and your Lock Screen. A small anchor you can glance at and come back to when the day pulls you in different directions.
• Apple Watch app: set and edit your word and reflection from your wrist
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep today's word in front of you
• Watch complications for a glance any time

YOUR WORDS COME BACK TO YOU
The longer you keep Cairn, the more it gives back. A word from a year ago resurfaces. One from last month returns. A word you keep coming back to rises to the top. Your past finds you again.

YOUR CAIRN
Every word you set joins a growing cairn, a cloud of your own words with the ones you return to most standing tallest. It's a portrait of you, built from the words you chose.

A CALM, HONEST PRACTICE
• One word each morning, one sentence each evening
• A timeline and calendar of your days, with no streaks and no shame for the days you miss
• Gentle reminders you can adjust or turn off
• Optional Face ID or Touch ID lock
• Share a single day, or your year in words, as an image

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Cairn collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Your words live on your device and in your own private iCloud, synced across your iPhone and Apple Watch, and never seen by us. Data Not Collected.
