Calorie Tracker: Cal Otter

Cal Otter is a calorie tracker that logs food from a photo. Snap your meal, scan a Nutrition Facts label, or point the camera at a barcode - then see calories and macros without typing every ingredient.

HOW IT WORKS

Snap a photo of your plate, or scan a label or barcode.
Get calories, protein, carbs, and fat in seconds.
Fix anything that’s off, then watch your day add up.

AI CALORIE COUNTER

Photo calorie tracking is the point. Cal Otter estimates what’s on the plate and breaks it into calories and macros. Lighting, sauces, and mixed dishes can throw estimates off - tap Fix this, edit portions, or add ingredients without scanning again.

THREE WAYS TO LOG

• Food photo - meals, leftovers, restaurant plates, or a picture from your library
• Nutrition label - packaged food, read from the camera
• Barcode - look up the product, or scan the label if it’s new

FOOD DIARY AND MACRO TRACKER

Home is your meal tracker for the day: a calorie ring plus protein, carbs, and fat. Swipe the date strip to review other days. It doubles as a nutrition tracker - calories and macros against targets from your goal.

YOUR PLAN

Lose weight, maintain, or gain. Cal Otter sets calorie and macro targets from your stats, activity, and pace. Use it to stay in a calorie deficit, or to eat enough while you gain.

PROGRESS

Log weight, add progress photos, and optionally sync weight with Apple Health. Meal reminders nudge you to keep the food diary going — turn them off anytime in Settings.

Cal Otter is a wellness app, not medical advice. Photo estimates are approximations. For packaged food, labels and barcodes are more precise than a plate photo.
