CampPlan 1.5

CampPlan helps South African campers plan trips that don't end at a Spar petrol stop.
Plan your gear, plan your meals, and let CampPlan generate a smart grocery list that scales to your party size — automatically. Built for braais, biltong, and back-roads.
— GEAR CHECKLIST —
Pack with confidence. Add gear by category (Shelter, Cooking, Safety, Lighting), check items off as you load the bakkie, and never forget the gas canister again. Drag to reorder, swipe to delete, and customise categories to match how you camp.
— MEAL PLANNER —
Add meals with proper ingredients and serving sizes. Boerewors, mieliepap, shakshuka, trail wraps, braai brisket — whatever you cook, CampPlan handles it. Each meal scales to the number of people on your trip, so the same recipe works for a couple's getaway or a family braai.— SMART GROCERY LIST —
The grocery tab generates itself. Every meal's ingredients flow in automatically, scaled to your party size and combined intelligently — three meals using onions become a single line on your shopping list. Add extras (ice, firelighters, charcoal, beers) and tick items off as you shop.
— WATER CALCULATOR —
Built-in water estimator based on people, days, and activity level. Drinking, cooking, and cleaning needs are calculated separately so you know exactly how many litres to load.
— SOUTH AFRICAN FOOD CATALOG —
Type-ahead suggestions for hundreds of SA staples: Mrs Balls Chutney, boerewors, Ouma rusks, Castle Lite, snoek, peri-peri, naartjies, Aromat, biltong, droëwors. Tap a suggestion and the name, quantity, and unit fill in automatically.
— VOICE INPUT —
Tap the mic and dictate ingredients hands-free while you're cooking or packing. "Two onions and 500 grams boerewors" becomes two perfectly-formatted list items.— BUILT FOR PRIVACY —
All your trip data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no analytics. Your camping plans are yours alone.
Whether you're heading to the Cederberg for a weekend, Kruger for a week, or just braaiing in the back garden — CampPlan keeps you organised so you can focus on the fire.
