Description by Damir Skoko(from the App Store)
Cardiac Alarm is a specialized heart rate monitor built for people living with heart conditions, health-related phobias, adult children watching over aging parents, and anyone who wants one more layer of awareness for their heart.
Set a low and high heart rate threshold on your Apple Watch — Cardiac Alarm sounds a high-volume siren the instant your pulse crosses it. At the same moment, up to three people you choose — your Guards — are notified that you may need help, with a loud siren on their iPhones, wherever they are.
No dashboards. No useless statistics. Just a specialized heart rate monitor with a siren that goes off when something is wrong.
WHO IT'S FOR • People living with a heart condition who want an extra layer of awareness • Anyone with health anxiety, cardiophobia, or a fear tied to their heart rate • Adult children keeping a quiet watch over an aging parent • Anyone who simply wants one more safeguard, day or night
HOW IT WORKS 1. THRESHOLD — Choose the low (and optionally high) heart rate limits that should trigger an alarm, right on your Apple Watch. 2. ALARM — A high-volume siren sounds on your watch to alert anyone nearby, and your Guards are alerted on their iPhones at the same instant. 3. HELP — Anyone nearby, or your Guards, checks on you — and calls emergency services if needed.
GUARDS, EXPLAINED Your Guards download Cardiac Alarm on their own iPhone — completely free — and enter a simple connection code you send them. Before a Guard is confirmed, they should receive a test alert they have to dismiss, so you both know the connection actually works. Do this test once a month; Cardiac Alarm will remind you.
BUILT FOR THE MOMENT IT MATTERS Cardiac Alarm is approved for Apple's Critical Alerts, so your alarm can sound even through Silent Mode, Do Not Disturb, or Focus.
PRICING • 7-day free trial • $1.49/month, billed annually at $17.99 (best value) • Or $2.99/month, billed monthly, if you'd rather not commit annually • Completely free for your Guards — always
Cardiac Alarm is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. If you have a heart condition, set your thresholds in consultation with your cardiologist.
