Professional case research, made approachable. CASER helps attorneys, legal professionals, journalists, and everyday people follow federal court activity without a PACER account for in-app search and monitoring.
SEARCH AND FOLLOW COURT ACTIVITY Search available federal court feeds and published opinions. Create keyword alerts for the states or courts you select, with exact-match and case-sensitive options. Save useful cases and open available source documents or official PACER links.
ATTICUS AI For adults 18+: ask follow-up questions, explore public case information, and get help understanding legal language with Atticus, powered by Google Gemini. Responses and available progress summaries stream as they arrive. Review the linked sources and verify important facts with official court records.
ALERTS THAT RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY Your phone checks the selected public court sources for your alert terms and posts a local notification when it finds a new match. CASER requests checks about every 15 minutes; iOS controls background timing. Background App Refresh, network access, and notification permission are needed. Force-quitting the app prevents background checks until you reopen it. This is not a guaranteed deadline or emergency notification service.
FREE TO START Try one lifetime court search, one keyword alert, and up to five saved cases. Court monitoring, source links, and estimated PACER savings are included.
CASER PRO Get unlimited in-app searches and saved cases, up to 100 keyword alerts, PDF export, search history, and Atticus AI with 100,000 credits per annual subscription period. Additional AI credits are available through in-app purchase. In the United States, CASER Pro is $14.99 per year; see the purchase screen for your local price. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings.
UNDERSTAND COVERAGE AND COSTS Public feeds contain a limited window of activity and may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. CASER does not provide every historical docket or every court record. Selecting a state filters the available federal sources; it does not add that state's local trial courts. Atticus can research publicly accessible web sources, but public availability and AI accuracy vary.
CASER does not charge per in-app search or perform PACER transactions for you. Opening PACER may require a separate account and court fees. Savings shown in CASER are estimates, not a PACER bill.
YOUR RESEARCH Saved cases, alert rules, and conversation history are stored on your device. Atticus asks permission before sending questions and relevant chat and case context to Google through Firebase AI, including credit-cost checks. Google retains web-grounding requests, context, and answers for 30 days. Deleting local history does not delete Google's retained records.
