One day after the Cat-Dog Peace Accords were signed, a faction of the Dog faction—dissatisfied with the order of the Cat and Dog names—attacked the Cat faction’s base on Earth, resulting in the loss of 30% of the human population.
The Long-tailed Tits, seeking revenge against their Earth-dwelling counterparts, dropped a massive meteorite onto the planet. As a result, the human population plummeted to 30% of its pre-war level.

This marked the beginning of the Cat-Dog Space War.
