Juan R. Cayón began the business that remains in the family: Adolfo Cayón (1971), a history graduate (UCM), was part of the IAPN Executive Committee and is the President of the AENP. Clemente Cayón (1972) studied Business and was the first to take over. Juan Cayón (1975) is an attorney (ICAM) and has a master’s degree in corporate tax (IE Business School). He was a guest professor for the numismatics program at the UNED (2005-12) and is a court-appointed expert in numismatists and tax law (APEPJIC).

Cayón is the main coin provider to the Spanish Culture Ministry (as of 2009, private sales and Auctions).

Cayón is the only Spanish dealer to attend major coin fairs globally.
