CGM Clinical

The CGM Clinical app is intended for use in clinical research only. Clinical studies where this application will be used will follow their own regulatory process and obtain requisite approvals.

This application is being made available only to individuals who have consented to take part in clinical research activities with Medtronic.

CGM Clinical app is designed to receive and transmit sensor glucose (SG) data to CareLink™ software for clinical study purposes. The collected data is masked from study participants and investigators.

Since the app does not display any SG data nor are any alerts regarding real-time SG readings provided to the user, the app is not intended for diabetes management or treatment decisions.

The app requires a compatible Medtronic glucose sensor and contains a video with instructions on how to insert a sensor. The app will notify users of sensor expiration. A user can also log events like exercise or a meal in the app.

CGM Clinical app should only be used with supported mobile devices and operating systems. Contact your clinical study investigator for a list of supported mobile devices and operating systems. The app may not be available in all regions.

The app store should not be used as your first point of contact to resolve technical or customer services issues. In order to protect your privacy and personal information, and promptly resolve any technical or customer services issues you are having with any Medtronic product, please contact your local Medtronic support line.
