ChoreJar: Chores & Allowance

Stop fighting with a chore app that crashes when it matters most. ChoreJar is the reliable digital chore chart and allowance tracker built for busy parents who want the gamified chore-and-allowance loop — without the banking complexity of a kids debit card and without the reliability headaches of other chore apps.

WHY FAMILIES SWITCH TO CHOREJAR
Other apps promise a lot and then fail on the basics: reminders that never fire, apps that crash mid-approval, surprise charges on your card, and artificial limits that block you from even trying the app with all your kids. ChoreJar fixes exactly that.

- Dependable daily chore reminders. ChoreJar uses your phone's built-in reminder system to nudge your kids about their chores every day, at the time you pick.
- Offline-first by design. ChoreJar works with no signal — at the dinner table, in the car, or at grandma's house. Everything lives on your phone; save a backup file anytime to move your family board to a new phone.
- No card required, ever, to try the full app. Add unlimited kids and unlimited chores during your free trial — no per-child cap forcing you to upgrade before you've even decided if it's a fit.
- Transparent trial. Start your 7-day free trial with zero payment info on file. If you choose to unlock the full app, it's a single one-time purchase — you'll see a clear price-confirmation screen before any charge, and never a subscription.

THE CORE LOOP
1. Set up your household and add each kid's profile in under a minute — no card, no email chains, no friction.
2. Create recurring chores and rotate them automatically across siblings, or clone the same chore chart to every kid in one tap.
3. Kids check off chores as done and can attach photo proof for extra accountability.
4. Parents review submissions in a simple approval queue — approve, reject, or request a redo.
5. Approved chores automatically credit the kid's allowance, split into Save, Spend, and Give jars — just like the classic allowance jar system, without any real banking or payment rails.
6. Kids track their own streaks, completed chores, and jar balances to stay motivated.

BUILT FOR REAL FAMILIES
- Pause any kid's chores instantly for vacations, custody weeks, or sick days.
- Dark mode for late-night approvals.
- Family chore chart works for 1 kid or 5 — no artificial caps.
- Self-serve data deletion, any time, right in the app — no support ticket required.
- Optional 4-digit parent PIN so kids can browse their board in Kid Mode without leaving it on their own.

FREE TRIAL, THEN PAY ONCE
Try everything free for 7 days: unlimited kids, unlimited recurring chores, whole-dollar and cent-level allowance tracking, the full approval queue, photo proof, ready-made chore templates, priority pause tools, and dark mode. After the trial, a single one-time purchase of $7.99 unlocks ChoreJar for life — no subscription, no monthly or yearly fee, no recurring charge, ever. Start with no payment info on file, and you'll see a clear price-confirmation screen before you're ever charged.
