Christian Journal - Testimony

Hi, we're Martijn and Andrea.

On Sundays you'll usually find us at the door of our church, welcoming people in as they arrive for the service. Since you're probably not in Guatemala, this is our way of welcoming you instead, through this app.

We're trying to make Testimony the best free Christian journaling app there is. Here's what's inside.

For your journaling
- Rich text with styling, images, highlights, and checklists
- Voice-to-text dictation that works privately offline
- Ready-made templates, or build your own and reuse it
- Helper questions by theme: growth, forgiveness, purpose, identity, joy etc.
- Find verses that fit your mood
- Split-screen Bible and journal. Read and write without switching screens
- Organize your entries in folders and collections
- Add your mood to any entry

For your Bible reading
- Every chapter comes with explanations: context, historical background, key lessons, interesting facts, actionable growth steps, and why it still matters today
- Highlight verses and add your own notes
- Search the whole Bible by word or phrase
- Jump straight from a verse into a new journal entry
- A "church read" mode, so your screen isn't too bright in a dark room

Turning reflection into action
- Save growth steps from your reading and your entries
- Keep the ones that matter active, and let the rest go

To look back
- See how your moods, habits, and faith connect over time
- Mood calendar and trends over the weeks and months
- Search past entries by date, mood, or text

For everyday use
- Lock the app with a PIN so your entries stay private
- Gentle reminders that keep you going
- Widgets for your verses and growth steps
- Offline audio book in 8 voices
- Works offline — everything is stored on your device

To make it yours
- Custom fonts and font sizes
- Five themes with their own colors and backgrounds
- Multiple Bible translations, including Spanish

Everything above is free.

We also offer a few online features through a subscription: personalised verse and chapter recommendations based on what you write, online backups, and sync across your devices. It keeps the app running and maintained. And it means the free version can stay genuinely free without ads.

Built in the Netherlands and Guatemala, with love and prayer.
