Clima Cabinet

Clima Cabinet is a private journal for coin collectors who want to organize their collections, document storage conditions, and preserve a dated visual record of each piece.

Build a detailed map of your storage spaces, track temperature and relative humidity, record inspections, and compare photographs over time. Every entry helps you maintain a clear history of where your coins are kept and what you observed.

COLLECTION ORGANIZATION

• Create a nested structure of rooms, cabinets, shelves, trays, cells, boxes, and vaults.
• Assign each coin one active storage location.
• Record transfers with reasons and retain previous locations in the history.
• Organize coins by title, year, denomination, catalog number, notes, and location.
• Save filter sets for quick access to specific parts of your collection.

CLIMATE JOURNAL

• Record temperature and relative humidity manually, import readings from a file, or use an optional nearby sensor.
• Review measurements as individual data points without filling gaps in the record.
• View storage status levels: not enough data, stable, watch, elevated, or inspect.
• Review the reasons behind each status and see suggested next steps.
• Customize thresholds to suit your storage preferences.

INSPECTIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

• Schedule inspections for individual coins or entire storage areas.
• Follow checklists, record observations, and set the next inspection date.
• Store photographs of the obverse, reverse, edge, and details.
• Compare two photographs to review visible changes.
• Keep original image files and document observations without automatically assigning a chemical cause.

CARE AND STORAGE HISTORY

• Record drying, sorbent changes, packaging updates, conservation work, and transport.
• Preserve previous wording when correcting journal entries.
• Maintain a dated record of storage conditions, observations, and collection movements.

EXPORTS AND PRIVACY

• Export storage passports as PDF documents.
• Export climate readings as CSV files.
• Create journal backups that include photographs.
• Protect access with an app code, Face ID, or Touch ID.
• Use the core collection features without Bluetooth.
