ClinicCSF Contrast Sensitivity

ClinicCSF is an application to measure the Contrast Sensitivity Function (CSF) at one particular distance. This application can be used in vision science research to test CSF at any distance from 40 cm to 4 meters. This allows measuring the visual performance not only at far distance but also at intermediate and near for clinical studies with Multifocal Intraocular Lenses or Multifocal Contact Lenses.

BEFORE TO BUY THE APP YOU SHOULD KNOW:

The functionalities differ depending on the installation on an iPad or iPhone:
1.- You need an iPad for conducting the CSF measurement
2.- If you install the ClinicCSF in an iPhone this only serves as a remote control, you will still need an iPad to measure the CSF
3.- You will need the same App Store account is configured in both iPad and iPhone for a single payment

The application is based on a single payment with an optional PRO subscription that provides further functionalities. Through the unique payment you will have access to the following options:

1.- Contrast Sensitivity Function measurement by two procedures with 3,6,12 and 18 cycles per degree (version 1) or 1.5,3,6,12 and 18 cycles per degree (version 2). Both procedures optimized to allow the comparison of results with the provided by other studies with conventional tests to measure Contrast Sensitivity Function such as CSV 1000E (version 1) or FACT (version 2).
2.- Personalized distance from 40 cm to 4 m.
3.- Uses standard brightness properties obtained from the average of the calibration from several iPads.

A PRO version is also included with several options such as:

4.- Remote Control with another IOS device
5.- Historical Database to Store Contrast Sensitivity Function
6.- Assign measurements to several Protocols
7.- Store Additional information (pupil, month, etc)
8.- Export Data to .CSV or export CSF plot
9.- Calibrated considering several iPad models or the possibility of a personalized calibration.

INFORMATION ABOUT PRO SUBSCRIPTION

The ClinicCSF includes an optional PRO auto-renewable subscription. If you want to access to the PRO services you have to buy a PRO auto-subscription for 29.99€ (prices can vary between countries) for a period of 1 year. The payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
