ClipCraft Video

ClipCraft trims video — built from the ground up to work with VoiceOver.

You select a segment by setting a Start point and an End point, then either export it as a new file or remove it from the video. Everything works by listening. You do not need to see the picture to cut with hundredth-of-a-second precision.

PRECISION BY EAR
• Start and End sliders with an adjustable step: 1 second, 0.1 second, 0.01 second, or 1, 2 and 4 frames.
• "Listen to Start" and "Listen to End" play a short sample around each point, so you can confirm you are cutting where you want.
• "Play selection" plays your whole segment.
• Times are spoken in minutes, seconds and hundredths.

AI FRAME DESCRIPTION
• Take a snapshot of the Start or End point and hear what it shows: people, scenery, objects — even the text inside the image.
• Invaluable for understanding exactly where you are in the video.
• Requires your own Anthropic API key, set once in Settings.

DELETE WITHOUT RISK
• "Delete selection" removes a segment and joins what remains before and after.
• It works on a temporary copy: cut several segments in a row, and if you change your mind, "Back" returns the video whole.
• Only "Save" makes the changes permanent. The original video in your Photos never changes.

EXPORT
• A new MP4 file containing only your selection.
• Smooth fade in and fade out on the audio, optionally on the picture too.
• Progress is announced as it works.

Editing happens locally on your device. No personal data collection, no advertising, no tracking. Only if you ask for an AI description is that single snapshot sent to Anthropic's service.
