Code Blue Monitor

Code Blue Monitor turns an iPad into a patient monitor and an iPhone into the instructor's remote. When the instructor changes the patient's condition on the iPhone, the monitor in front of the learners actually changes — so learners notice the deterioration themselves instead of being told.

No high-fidelity simulator needed. Use the iPad, iPhone and BLS manikin you already have, on the ward or in the skills lab. No Wi-Fi router or internet required.

CHART CASES THAT UNFOLD STEP BY STEP
- 52 ward patients, each with physician and nursing notes, labs, imaging and orders, presented like a real chart
- Filter by the learners' unit: surgical, medical, neurosurgical, cardiology, obstetrics, dialysis and more
- Each case starts at a stable point; press Next and the ECG and vitals change to follow the chart
- ECGs match the pathophysiology: ST elevation in myocardial infarction, U waves in hypokalaemia
- Blood gas, imaging and breath sounds follow the timeline
- Press Arrest to move into cardiac arrest at any point, or Improve to steer towards recovery — the outcome follows what the learners do

MONITOR AND DEFIBRILLATOR
- 35 ECG rhythms, including VF, pulseless VT, PEA, asystole, every AV block, ST elevation, hyperkalaemia and torsades
- Heart rate, blood pressure, SpO₂, respiratory rate, temperature, EtCO₂ and arterial line
- Values appear only when a sensor is attached; any value can be hidden
- Defibrillation, synchronised cardioversion and transcutaneous pacing on a dial laid out like a real device; set the capture threshold from the remote
- Voice-guided AED mode in English, Japanese and Spanish
