CogniShield: App Blocker

Fewer automatic opens. More intentional choices.

CogniShield blocks the apps you select and asks you to complete a short challenge before reopening them. Put a moment of thought between an impulse and a tap, whether you are studying, working or making time for something else.

A SHIELD YOU CONTROL
Choose apps and websites through Apple’s secure picker. Turn protection on or off from CogniShield. Completing a challenge temporarily opens the relevant target, while your other protected apps stay shielded.

MAKE THE PAUSE COUNT
Choose from math and logic, geography, the living world, and chemistry. Set the difficulty, the number of correct answers required for each target, and the penalty duration after repeated mistakes.

Written challenges are available in French and English; other app languages use the English question bank when available.

PRIVACY BUILT INTO THE DESIGN
Protection uses Apple’s Screen Time APIs, including Family Controls. App selections use opaque tokens. No account is required, and your challenge counters stay on your device.

SUPPORT HEALTHIER FAMILY HABITS
CogniShield can support conversations about intentional device use. The current app uses individual authorization from the person using the device. Use Apple’s Screen Time parental settings to manage a child’s device: CogniShield does not offer remote parental supervision or guarantee an unbreakable block.

MORE CHOICE WITH PREMIUM
The free version protects up to two apps and includes math/logic and geography. Premium unlocks an expanded app selection, category protection, all challenge themes, and context-aware difficulty. Existing Premium entitlements can be restored, including lifetime purchases.

Choose an annual subscription or a lifetime purchase, subject to availability in your region. Prices and terms are shown in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings. Restore Purchases is available in Settings.

Pause, think, and choose what you really want to open.
