Data Sources and Updates

Fiat currency exchange rates are based on official reference rates published by the European Central Bank.

• The European Central Bank publishes new rates once per working day
• Updates occur after the official data is released
• On weekends and holidays the rates may remain unchanged

These values are official reference rates and serve as an informational benchmark.
They are not buy/sell rates used by banks or exchange offices, therefore real market rates may differ.

Cryptocurrency prices are updated much more frequently, as the crypto market operates 24/7.

Offline Mode

After the first successful data update, the application can continue to work without an internet connection.
In offline mode the app will display the most recently updated currency and cryptocurrency rates that were downloaded when the device was last connected to the internet.
