Conductive by Elloveo

The rules of this game are the laws of physics - learn electricity and magnetism by playing a game.

Developed by Stanford engineers, with the support of the National Science Foundation, the Conductive app by Elloveo breaks down complex concepts through interactive simulations in a puzzle-based game. Electrons are too small to see and electric/magnetic fields propagate at the speed of light, making this subject difficult to visualize. Conductive slows time and scales space so you can see what’s happening and build real intuition.

The game guides players from the fundamentals of electric charges and simple circuits to exploring the intricacies of electric cars and power generation. Players can "see" the otherwise invisible currents and charges, making the learning experience intuitive and interactive. Through hands-on manipulation, players unlock the next level while acquiring a deeper understanding of physics.

Learning electricity and magnetism has never been more intuitive and engaging. Ignite a lifelong passion for physics.

WHY CONDUCTIVE?

COMPREHENSIVE: Immerse yourself in a total of 200+ levels within 11 Chapters covering; Charges, Magnets, Conductors, Capacitors, Circuits, Resistors, Motors, Power, Coulomb's Law and Electric/Magnetic Fields

INTERACTIVE: Add/Move components and visually see forces and fields change in real-time

INTUITIVE: "Play" with electromagnetism; learn the concepts first, equations later

REAL-WORLD SIMULATION: Behind the game is a patented, interactive electromagnetic simulator

VISUALIZE: Electric/magnetic fields, current, and voltage graphics are beautifully displayed

VIDEOS: Animations and real-world videos reinforce concepts.

CREATE/SHARE: Sandbox where teachers and students can create and share levels. Builds understanding and helps with pacing faster students in the classroom

WHO'S IT FOR?

Conductive is for educators in the classroom. Introduce electricity and magnetism to students with an interactive game, so students can build intuition. One week with Conductive and students will build an conceptual understanding before substituting into any equations.

AGES 6-12: Explore charge, magnets, conductors, batteries, electric motors, and power generation
HIGH SCHOOL: Visualize and intuitively understand electric and magnetic fields, resistors, capacitors, inductors, current, voltage, and Coulomb's law
ADULTS: Play this game and you'll have a picture in your head of how circuits work
TEACHERS/TUTORS: Use the game in-classroom as 3-5 day middle-school course, or as a visual introduction to high-school E+M

PROVEN:

Since 2018, Elloveo has tested, studied, and surveyed over 1000 individuals from K-12 classrooms, teachers, college students, professors, and scientists, to help refine the Conductive app and the user experience. Here is what some have to say:

Dalton, Middle school science teacher, SF Bay Area, CA
“The Conductive app makes (electricity and magnetism) concepts visible and easy to grasp, which is truly remarkable, and it challenges students to make the connections on their own through clever game design elements...My students loved using it"

Amy V., Ed.D., K-8 Principal, Chicago, IL
"I saw students of all ability levels able to access the game, gain new knowledge, and connect the new understandings to previous knowledge."

4th Grader, Los Angeles, CA
“The game really helped me understand difficult concepts and made it fun and easy”
