Timing contractions during labor should not add stress. Contraction Timer makes it effortless: tap once to start, tap again to stop.
SIMPLE, ACCURATE TRACKING
Record each contraction with a single tap. Rate the pain intensity so you can see how labor is progressing. The app automatically calculates duration, frequency, and intervals. No mental math, no scribbling on paper.
SEE YOUR LABOR PATTERN AT A GLANCE
Your contraction history is displayed in a clear, easy-to-read timeline. You and your birth partner can spot patterns as labor progresses, with pain ratings and timing for every contraction.
KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO GO
The app monitors the 5-1-1 pattern and alerts you when your contractions suggest it may be time to head to the hospital or birth center. Save your hospital phone number and address for one-tap calling and navigation when the moment comes.
GUIDED BREATHING
Breathe through every contraction with guided breathing exercises. Choose between two patterns, slow or paced, and adjust the speed to your comfort level. Haptic feedback guides your inhales and exhales, so you can follow along without looking at the screen.
KEEP YOUR PARTNER IN THE LOOP
Your birth partner receives automatic push notifications when hospital alert criteria are met. They can also view your live labor progress from their own device: contraction count, frequency, and duration updated in real time.
KEEP YOUR SCREEN ON
Your screen stays on while a contraction session is running, so you can tap start and stop without unlocking your phone. You can turn this off in Settings.
LIVE ACTIVITIES
Follow your current phase, contraction count, and hospital alert status on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
BUILT FOR THE MOMENT
Labor is intense. The interface is designed to work with one hand, in low light, and under pressure, because you have more important things to focus on.
Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, the Contraction Timer gives you clarity and peace of mind when you need it most.
