Description
With Cook&Track you add your own recipes – the app remembers what you liked and brings it back to you.
Eating more consciously doesn't start with giving things up. It starts with paying attention. The rest follows.
WHAT DID I ACTUALLY EAT YESTERDAY?
Snap a photo, add a quick note, done. The dinner out, too, and the slice of cake at the office. In the evening you see the whole day, not just half of it.
Writing it down changes something by itself. Not because there's a number at the end, but because you take a look while you enter it. And whatever repeats, you copy from yesterday to today.
If you want the numbers: calories, carbs, protein, or your own parameters – you enter them yourself. Once per recipe; when you link it, the app carries them over and shows your daily total. No database, no AI guessing from a photo. Once you've looked it up, you'll know next time without the app.
CAN I EAT AGAIN YET?
The eating rhythm traffic light helps you eat more consciously – with enough of a break between meals. Green, yellow, or red – at a glance, and as a widget on your Lock Screen. Your rhythm, your rules: you set the eating window and the pauses yourself. Move the night pause or turn it off – for anyone who works nights and eats then, too. And if you don't want the traffic light at all, switch it off. The app doesn't judge.
SO WHAT ARE WE COOKING THIS WEEK — AGAIN?
The answer is already in your own collection – you just don't see it anymore. Cook&Track shows you what you haven't cooked in ages even though it was good. What you saved and never tried. What's been on the table a lot lately.
These suggestions come from the meals you logged and the ratings you gave, not from someone else's database. The more you rate, the better they get.
Drop them into the weekly grid, build a shopping list across several days, share it or print it and take it along. On the day itself, the plan simply becomes a regular entry. A dinner made of three recipes? Roast, red cabbage, and dumplings all hang on one meal.
WHERE DID THAT RECIPE GO AGAIN?
Found a recipe while browsing? Share → Cook&Track, done. Ingredients, steps, times, and nutrition are captured, recognized in twelve languages. You can photograph a cookbook page too, or hand over a recipe PDF.
Everything in one place, categorized and searchable. Family recipes, your own creations, the one from your neighbor – with a photo, a rating, and a note on who you got it from.
THIS IS DELICIOUS – CAN YOU SEND ME THE RECIPE?
One tap turns your recipe into a designed PDF: photo, ingredients, instructions, nutrition. By message, email, or printed out. Anyone with Cook&Track imports it into their own collection with a single tap. Anyone without gets a nice sheet of paper. Private notes always stay with you.
WHAT'S DELIBERATELY NOT IN HERE
No calorie database. No diet rules. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. No account and no password – everything runs on your device and in your own iCloud, in sync between iPhone and iPad. Your photos too: you choose the resolution, and you can export them to your library anytime.
If you need a nutrition log for your doctor or dietitian, export it as a PDF for any date range you like.
