Description
CoreAnalytics turns your Apple Watch data into a daily recovery score that tells you exactly how ready your body is — before you decide how hard to train.
Every morning, CoreAnalytics reads your overnight HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and activity data from Apple Health and calculates a personalised recovery percentage. Green means go. Amber means ease up. You stop guessing and start training with purpose.
YOUR DAILY RECOVERY SCORE Wake up to a single number that summarises your physiological readiness. The recovery score weighs your HRV trend, resting heart rate, sleep quality, and recent training load to give you an honest picture of where your body is at — not where you want it to be.
HRV TRACKING Heart Rate Variability is the most reliable non-invasive marker of nervous system recovery. CoreAnalytics tracks your HRV daily, surfaces your personal baseline, and shows you how each night's sleep, training session, or stressful day moves the needle. Know your numbers, understand your patterns.
INSIGHTS THAT ACT LIKE A COACH CoreAnalytics generates contextual daily insights — Peak Performance Window, Training Recommendation, Recovery Guidance, and HRV Status — based on your actual data. When three consecutive days of high recovery align, it tells you your body is primed for a key effort. When your HRV drops and resting HR climbs, it tells you to back off before you dig a hole.
TRENDS OVER TIME View your Recovery, HRV, Resting HR, Sleep, Strain, and VO2 Max across Week, Month, 3-Month, and Year windows. Spot the patterns that weekly check-ins miss — the slow HRV decline before illness, the VO2 Max climb after a training block, the sleep debt that explains a bad race.
WEEKLY ANALYTICS The Analytics tab gives you a structured Week in Review: average recovery, total workouts, average sleep, and average HRV — each compared against the prior week so you can see the direction of travel, not just a snapshot.
BUILT ON APPLE HEALTH CoreAnalytics reads exclusively from Apple Health. No separate wearable, no new sensors, no account required. If you wear an Apple Watch, you already have everything CoreAnalytics needs. Your data never leaves your device.
PRIVACY FIRST All processing happens on-device. CoreAnalytics does not have servers, does not create accounts, and does not transmit your health data anywhere. Your HRV is yours.
--- Requires Apple Watch for HRV and heart rate data. Sleep data requires Apple Watch sleep tracking or a compatible app writing to Apple Health.
--- Tips for use: - Wear your Apple Watch to sleep to unlock sleep and overnight HRV data - Check your score each morning before planning your training - Use the Trends tab monthly to evaluate your training block response - A sustained drop in HRV + rise in resting HR = early warning sign worth acting on
--- A note on the score: Recovery scores are a guide, not a prescription. CoreAnalytics uses established HRV methodology to calculate readiness, but your body's signals should always be interpreted alongside how you actually feel. Use the score as a data point — one of several inputs in smart training decisions.
