Description by Erik From(from the App Store)
Split expenses with your partner without spreadsheets or awkward talks. Couplesplit logs purchases from your bank notifications and shows who owes whom, split 50/50 or by income.
Shared money lives in Ours. Personal money lives in Mine, and only you can see it. The two never mix.
PURCHASES THAT LOG THEMSELVES Bought groceries for $42.90? When your bank's notification arrives, the expense is already in Couplesplit. • Bank notifications: on iOS 27, purchases log themselves from the notifications your bank already sends. • Apple Pay: from iOS 18, what you buy with Apple Pay is logged too. • No passwords and no bank connection. It runs through an automation in the Shortcuts app. • Captured purchases arrive private, in Mine. You decide what moves to Ours.
NEW IN 1.8 • Your month vs. your usual: see if you're spending more or less than your usual pace, and which categories explain it. • Fixed payments: rent, utilities and subscriptions in one place, with a calendar and a notification before each due date. Shared or just yours, never mixed. • How you split: what each of you put in this month, and what your incomes say it should be. Change your salary or the split directly; your partner gets a notification and can pause the change to talk it over. • Half-month balance: your balance broken down by half-month, ideal if your salary arrives twice a month. • Expense organizer: sort uncategorized expenses in a few taps. • Share suggestions: personal expenses that look like household ones are gathered for you to review. Nothing is shared until you say so.
SPLIT FAIRLY, SETTLE UP CLEARLY • Split 50/50, by income or with your own percentage • Who owes whom in real time, synced on both phones • Settle up the full balance or only through last month • Couplesplit never moves money: you send the transfer from your bank and record it in the app • A notification when your partner adds an expense
PLAN TOGETHER • Shared spending limits, with notifications at 80%, 90% and 100% • Installments and recurring expenses • Trips in the local currency, converted to your home currency, and kept out of your monthly spending if you want • Reports by category and trend, plus your Monthly Wrapped • Home screen widgets • Import your shared history from a CSV file • 70+ categories, 100+ currencies and 6 languages
