Crankwise: Engine Help

Find a sensible next step when your small gasoline engine will not start or run properly.

Choose your machine, describe the problem in a sentence, and answer a few clear questions. Crankwise gives you likely starting points, practical checks, tools and possible parts, and clear instructions for when to stop and get help.

• Chainsaws, mowers, generators, pressure washers, leaf blowers, trimmers, snowblowers and other small gasoline engines.
• Short guided checks with plain-language answers and an option when you are unsure.
• Save the machine’s history and distinguish what you saw from what someone told you.
• On supported devices, Apple Intelligence interprets your notes on device. A clearly labeled built-in guide is available when it is unavailable.
• Model-based exploded-diagram, manual and wiring searches. Source documents and fit must be checked before use.
• Model-based parts searches and links to supplier diagrams. Confirm the manufacturer part number and fit before buying.
• Saved checks and shareable reports. No account, ads or audio recording.

The built-in guide works offline. Supplier searches and manufacturer references require internet. Guidance is general and does not confirm a fault, calibrate probabilities or verify part compatibility. Follow your exact equipment manual; professional service may be required.
