Crescendo: Fade-In Timer

Crescendo is a simple countdown timer with a gentle fade-in alarm. When time is up, sound begins softly and builds gradually, easing you back into your day.

Give a chapter your attention. Settle into a study session. Make space for a stretch or a quiet break. Set your time, choose your sound, and begin.

SHAPE YOUR SOUND
Choose Soft Chime, Bell, or Ambient Tone. Set how softly the sound starts, how loud it becomes, and how long it takes to build during in-app playback.

MAKE IT FEEL LIKE YOURS
Choose from five themes: Porcelain, Mint Mist, Clay Blush, Lemon Cream, and Deep Focus. A clear countdown and flowing color keep time easy to follow.

KEEP THINGS SIMPLE
Pause and resume when plans change. Repeat a finished timer with a tap. Follow your countdown on the Lock Screen with Live Activities and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones.

YOUR TIME STAYS YOURS
One purchase. No subscriptions or in-app purchases. No ads or account to create. Crescendo works offline and stores your timer settings on your device.

For the full custom fade-in and Crescendo visuals, keep the app open while your timer finishes. Once the timer sound has started in Crescendo, it continues playing when you leave the app for the Home Screen. If the timer finishes while your iPhone is locked or Crescendo is already in the background, iOS delivers the alert through its alarm or notification interface, with different appearance and controls. Alarm or notification permission is required for these background alerts.
