CurrencyRef is a currency converter that never goes online. You set the exchange rate yourself, and the app turns it into a clean conversion table you can read at a glance. It is built for the moment you land somewhere new, have no signal, and still need to know what a price actually means.

There is nothing to sign into and nothing to load. Type the two currency codes, type the rate, and the table is there.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Set any base and target currency by typing its code, so you are not held to a fixed list.
Tap one of 22 built in codes to switch the target instantly, including USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY, CHF, CNY, INR, MXN, KRW, THB, AED and TRY. The rate stays as you typed it, so enter the one for the new currency.
Enter the rate on a number pad that accepts a comma or a period, whichever your keyboard gives you.
Read the headline conversion at the top in large type: 1 unit of your base currency in the currency you are spending.
Check nine common amounts at once: 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000, each rounded to two decimals.
Watch every row of the table update as you change the rate.

CurrencyRef makes no network requests of any kind. There is no account, no sign up, no analytics and no tracking. Whatever you type stays on your device, which is also why the app never asks you for a permission.

Please note: CurrencyRef does not fetch live market rates, by design. You choose the rate, so the table is exactly as current as the number you put in. Each time the app starts, it opens on a sample rate of 1 USD to 0.92 EUR, so type the rate you want to use.
