Daytape is your private video diary. No account, no feed, no editing app. You hit record a few times during the day, and in the evening your day is waiting as a finished film.

Your clips stay in your Photos. What's free stays free.

HOW IT WORKS
• Record: open the app, press the red button, done. A few seconds are enough. Or take a photo that holds still in your film.
• Watch: the day film joins your moments automatically, in the order you recorded them. No timeline, no editing.
• Collect: every day becomes a cassette in your archive, sorted by day, month and year. Search finds moments by title, place and date.

PLACES AND MAP
• Any clip can carry a place. If you like, Daytape adds it while you record: your own places like “Home” even offline, elsewhere the city.
• The Map tab shows your recordings as pictures. A tap shows every moment at a place, and “Play” turns them into a film.

RECORD LIKE A CAMCORDER
• Full-screen viewfinder with date stamp, tape counter and a red REC dot.
• Tap to focus, exposure, strong stabilization, grid and level. Slow motion and speed up to ×60. Start and stop with the volume buttons, too.
• Portrait or landscape per day, so your film stays consistent.
• Zoom from the ultra wide lens up to your iPhone's maximum.

TRIM, IF YOU WANT TO
• Set where a clip starts and ends, and cut quiet parts out of the middle. The original stays complete in Photos.
• Clip upside down? Turn it 180°.

REMINDERS, IF YOU WANT THEM
• If you haven't recorded anything by the afternoon, Daytape reminds you, once a day at most. Each kind can be turned off; everything is planned on your iPhone.

• Your clips live in your Photos, in the album “Daytape” – not on a server of ours.

Unlimited recordings, unlimited days. Your day film always plays in full in the app; you can export the first minute. 5 photos a day in your film, up to 3 favorite moments, trim up to 30 seconds per day. Places, map, search, app lock and your own end of day are free.

• Export the whole day film, however long your day was.
• The place as camcorder text in your film.
• Record in 4K and at 60 fps, slow motion, unlimited photos and unlimited trimming.

Days you recorded with Pro keep their complete export, even after a subscription ends.

STORAGE AND BACKUP
Every clip goes to your Photos library, into the album “Daytape”, and is backed up with your photos, for example through iCloud Photos. Daytape keeps no second copy. Your days, favorites and trims are part of your iPhone backup, so on a new iPhone Daytape finds your clips again.

GOOD TO KNOW
• For iPhone. Recordings use HEVC and take little space.
• Works offline – only buying, restoring, place names, maps and clips offloaded to iCloud need a connection.
• In eleven languages. Works with VoiceOver and large text.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after the purchase.
