Derekh Learning: Daily Torah

Nothing to catch up on. Open Derekh Learning and today's reading is already explained, in whichever of 16+ learning voices actually speaks to you, at a depth your day has room for.

Every morning, Derekh Learning prepares a fresh lesson on the day's reading: Daf Yomi, the weekly parsha, the Daily Rambam, and more. Every lesson is grounded in real sources from Sefaria's open library, with inline citations you can tap to check. Pick a depth: about three minutes on the way out the door, or up to thirty if tonight's the night to sit with it. You even pick the hour your daily lesson arrives.

Ask a follow-up and Chevruta, the built-in study partner, answers with citations that open right in the app. Ask it something that is really a question for your rabbi and it will teach you the sources, then tell you honestly that a personal ruling deserves a rabbi, not an app. Lesson-scope Chevruta is free (4 questions a day, 10 a week). Asking across an entire path or the whole of Torah is a Pro feature.

Sixteen-plus teaching voices carry the same source through different registers: Beginner, Expert, Jewish Parent, Startup Mensch, and more. They aren't difficulty tiers, just different ways of hearing the same page explained. Pro subscribers can build a custom voice of their own and pick a color theme for the whole app.

Beyond the daily lesson: a Sefaria-verified Siddur with each blessing's classical source and a practical guide to how and when it's said, a Hebrew calendar, zmanim for your exact location, a gematria calculator that works offline, a Judaism 101 library, and a free printable Shabbat Table discussion guide every week, plus holiday guides.

Life doesn't stop for a streak, and Shabbat never breaks one. A missed Saturday doesn't count against you, and a missed weekday gets banked, not broken. Chazara brings past lessons back on a spaced-review schedule so what you learned actually stays. Derekh for Life offers day-by-day journeys for mourning, bar and bat mitzvah, a wedding, a new baby, and the season of teshuvah. Free to enroll. And when you carry a yahrzeit, record it once: Derekh Learning keeps the Hebrew date every year and reminds you a week ahead and the day before.
