Das Handwerk selbst wird seit fast 400 Jahren in Rabenau gepflegt, was den Ort zur ältesten Stuhlbauerstadt Deutschlands macht. Die Vielfalt der ausgestellten Stühle, der gesammelten historischen Werkzeuge und Holzbearbeitungsmaschinen ist wohl einmalig in Deutschland. Die App erweitert die Ausstellung um interessante Informationen und wertvolle Details
Das Deutsche Stuhlbaumuseum beinhaltet in seinen Räumlichkeiten neben der Ausstellung zum handwerklichen Stuhlbau auch eine Heimatsammlung mit interessanten Exponaten zur Stadtgeschichte Rabenaus und zum Naturschutzgebiet „Rabenauer Grund“. Auch dazu bietet der Guide weiterführende Informationen in multimedialer Form.
