DMK Youth Wing App is a first of its kind digital application designed to facilitate two-way communication between the Youth Wing and its members.
Through this app, the citizens, cadres, volunteers, members of the Youth Wing, and followers of Udhayanidhi Stalin can get in touch with the Youth Wing by texting and taking part in its social media activities. We bring this platform to you to disseminate the day-to-day activities of the DMK Youth Wing. The users can also enroll themselves as the members of the Youth Wing using this app.
The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is the first political party in India to form a youth wing. In 1967, our Honourable Chief Minister and the party President Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin founded Gopalapuram Youth Wing, which was later rechristened as DMK Youth Wing, at a salon in Gopalapuram, Chennai. The Youth Wing was officially inaugurated in 1980 by kalaignar Karunanidhi at a grand conference at Jhansi Rani Park, Madurai.
Formerly headed by Stalin himself and later briefly briefly by MP Saminathan, Minister for Information & Publicity, the Youth Wing is now steered by Udhayanidhi Stalin, Secretary, DMK Youth Wing and MLA, Chepauk constituency. The party is committed in shaping the future leaders of the country through its Dravidian ideology and principles.
