DNS Security helps protect your privacy by encrypting DNS queries with DNS over HTTPS (DoH) and DNS over TLS (DoT).

When you visit a website, HTTPS encrypts the content of your connection, but traditional DNS lookups may still be sent without encryption. These DNS requests translate domain names into IP addresses, and unencrypted queries can expose browsing activity to eavesdropping, tracking, or manipulation.

DNS Security closes this privacy gap by helping you use encrypted DNS providers. With DoH and DoT, your DNS queries are protected from interception and tampering, reducing the risk of malicious redirection, phishing, malware, and surveillance.

DNS over HTTPS uses port 443, while DNS over TLS uses port 853.
