PRIVACY CONTROLS

• DocTalk asks for separate permission before sending content to Google Vertex AI, OpenAI, or Perplexity
• The permission screen identifies the data sent to each provider and can be declined
• Permission can be revoked at any time under Account > AI Data Processing
• Stored conversation messages and other sensitive database fields use application-level encryption; managed cloud storage provides encryption at rest
• DocTalk does not sell personal information or disclose health information linked to your account to advertisers or data brokers
• DocTalk does not use personal information for cross-app tracking

For document analysis, the original selected PDF or image is sent to Google Vertex AI for text extraction and identifier removal. Production Vertex AI inference is configured not to retain or cache document content or images after processing and not to use that content for model training. OpenAI may process selected chat, speech, synopsis, or appointment content for the feature you request. Perplexity receives the current question, relevant history, and de-identified extracted document text needed for chat. See the Privacy Policy for complete provider-specific details.
