Circle burns it on the network you leave and mints it on the one you arrive at, so nothing is wrapped and no liquidity pool sets the price. the exit and the arrival are two hashes on one operation, both in your statement, and the fee is on screen before you confirm.

no gas tokens
you never buy SOL, TRX, TON or ETH to send. the fee is charged in the same dollar you are sending and is shown before you confirm. receiving is always free, on every network.

only the issuer's contract
the wallet reads the issuer's own contract on each network — on Arbitrum, USDT is Tether's official USD₮0 — so a fake or lookalike token can never appear in your balance.
