Driftwood: Campfire

Campfire is a quiet place to listen together.

It's a clearing at night with a fire for each thing playing. Swipe between fires, sit down at one, and you're listening with everyone else there. You'll see their first names around the fire, and anything anyone says drifts up over the flames.

WHAT PLAYS
• Music: listener-supported radio, and gramophone records from the 1910s
• Stories: The Wind in the Willows read aloud, and old-time radio drama: westerns, 1950s science fiction and detective stories
• Talks: Alan Watts, and history radio
• Study and sleep: a 25/5 focus timer everyone at the fire shares, or let the music fade out on your phone

Every fire credits what's playing, with a link to its source.

LISTEN WITH FRIENDS
Light a fire for the people you know and send them one link. When a friend sits down at a fire, you can hear about it.

QUIET BY DESIGN
No feed, no likes, no ads. Listening needs no account. Sitting down and talking needs a free Driftwood account, made in a tap with Sign in with Apple.

Keeps playing when your phone locks, with the usual lock-screen controls.

Campfire is part of Driftwood, a small studio making calmer apps.
