The management of government child families falls within the purview of the Department of Social Services' Institutions Branch. The Additional Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Social Service Officer at headquarters, and Custodian/Deputy Custodian at field level, who oversees the management of government child families, make up the Director (Institution). The District Social Service Office's Deputy Director and Assistant Directors are in charge of supervising the field-level institutions and facilitating communication between them and the main office.
