Dubtake Video Dubbing

Video dubbing, right on your phone.

Pick a video from your library and put your own voice over it. DubTake splits the video into lines, shows you where to come in, and records your voice in place of the original — with the background, the music and the effects kept.

HOW IT WORKS
• Import a video from your camera roll
• The app splits it into lines and marks where each one starts
• Hear the cue, come in on time and record
• Redo it as many times as you want, line by line
• Export at 1080x1920, ready to post

13 VOICE EFFECTS
Chipmunk, deep, monster, robot, radio, echo, choir, alien, possessed, tipsy, underwater, megaphone and gramophone. Tap one and hear your own line with it before you pick it for the whole dub.

YOUR VOICE ACTOR SCORE
Every dub gets a score from 0 to 100 for coming in on cue, energy and presence. Share it as an image, keep your daily streak alive and collect medals.

WHAT YOU SEE WHILE RECORDING
A ruler with the original speech waveform and yours over it, on the same axis. Looking at that drawing is what makes the dub land: where the syllable hits, where the pause falls, where the voice rises.

DUBBING HAPPENS ON YOUR DEVICE
Splitting, recording and mixing are all done locally, on your phone.
