Ducklis is a dictation app for home and classroom use. Parents and teachers can scan words from textbooks, type them in, or paste text to create a word list that’s ready to play. Its refreshed interface makes preparing lists, practicing, and reviewing mistakes easier.

**Create word lists quickly**
• Scan textbooks, vocabulary pages, and worksheets
• Select part of a photo to recognize its text
• Type Chinese words or English vocabulary
• Paste words from homework messages or chats

**Practice at your own pace**
Set how many times each word is read aloud, the pause between words, playback speed, and whether words play in order or at random. During practice, replay the current word or move to the previous or next one.

For Chinese word dictation, Premium Voice offers another way to hear words whose tones were previously difficult to get right. Users with a lifetime unlock can generate new Premium Voice audio 10 times per day for free. Audio already cached on the device or server can be played without using that allowance. Premium Voice is also available through a separate subscription.

**Review tricky words**
After a session, mark words that were misspelled or need more practice. Find them together in your mistake list and use them for a focused review session.

**Share lists with others**
Turn a word list into a shareable image or QR code. Teachers can send lists to a class, classmates can practice the same words, and family members can import a list on another device without typing it again.
