E-Volve Estimating

Our mission at E-Volve Tech is to revolutionize the estimating process for collision repair facilities by making accurate, procedurally-based, insurance-ready estimates that are accessible to every shop across the nation. We have a team of highly trained estimators ready to write quality estimates at a moment's notice. Our goal is to ease the burden of writing estimates for shop owners and shop management as well as help body shops get paid for the work that they are performing, but may not necessarily be captured within their current writing practices.

From a mom and pop garage to a nationwide MSO, we know that access to high-quality virtual estimates is something that every shop needs in some form or another. In smaller shops that do not have a dedicated writer, we can help free up precious time for the owner or general manager so that you can focus on more valuable tasks such as sales, production, or customer service. For larger facilities we can serve as an important resource to allow your writing costs to be more aligned with volume; this is extremely helpful in busier times where you can use the extra support that you might not have a full-time need for quite yet.

Our ownership team has over 90 years of experience in different aspects of the automotive and collision industry and we have almost seen it all. Our paths crossed at a third-generation body shop in New York City that was one of the first shops in the country to set up remote estimating as a way to offer its estimators flexibility. Then came 2020 and global pandemic hit and turned the world upside down; insurance companies were in such a pinch to find writers that they turned to our little shop to help them stay within regulation. This quickly turned into a very successful independent appraisal business. After about a year of writing estimates for insurers we began to realize that the real need for quality estimators was at collision shops and it was then that our little independent appraisal business E-Volve‘d’ into an organization focused on solving the issue of finding quality writers for collision repair shops.

We had a team of writers set up and ready to go from the independent appraisal business and we knew of the need body shops had for estimates, now we just needed a way to get the information to our writers and get the estimates back to the shop. After much trial and error with existing platforms we came to the realization that we needed our own solution that fit the unique situation body shops are in. To create this solution, we partnered with a proven development team and worked closely together to create the E-Volve mobile app. The goal of the mobile app is to allow collision repair facilities to seamlessly send the information our writers need to create a quality estimate and for our writers to then be able to easily send the completed estimate back to the shop.

We have customers that use our writers for everything and have fully replaced a staff writer as well as others that keep us on standby so we can “fill-in” if a staff writer is on vacation.
