EarnTrace: Work Hours & Pay

Track your work hours, estimate gross pay, and keep a private record you can actually use.

EarnTrace is built for hourly workers, contractors, caregivers, cleaners, tutors, freelancers, and anyone balancing more than one job or rate. Start a timer or add a past shift, then review the hours, breaks, and rate behind every estimate.

TRACK THE WORK YOU ACTUALLY DID

• Start, pause, resume, and end a shift
• Add past, split, same-day, or overnight shifts
• Record unpaid breaks and notes without flattening the day into one block
• Search and filter a date-grouped history

SEE HOURS AND ESTIMATED PAY

• Keep jobs or clients separate, each with its own hourly rate and pay period
• Preserve rate changes from the date they take effect
• Review today, week, pay period, month, or a custom range
• Set your own weekly overtime threshold and multiplier
• See regular time, overtime, and adjustments as separate parts of the estimate

REVIEW A PAY STATEMENT WITH PRO

Enter the matching gross amount from a pay statement and compare it with EarnTrace’s saved estimate for the same job, dates, and pay components. Save the comparison, add a note, and export a PDF. If the underlying records change, EarnTrace marks the comparison for review.

This is a manual comparison. EarnTrace does not read payslips, connect to an employer, bank, or payroll service, or decide whether money is owed.

KEEP AND SHARE YOUR RECORDS

• PDF reports and CSV exports are included with Free
• Keep unlimited work history
• Export a portable backup and restore it without replacing existing records
• Review correction history and recover deleted entries for 30 days
• Add optional App Lock with Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

No account. No ads. No GPS or employer login. Your work records stay on your iPhone unless you choose to export them. Local storage is not automatic cloud backup, so export a backup when you want a separate copy.

FREE OR OPTIONAL PRO

Free includes two active jobs, unlimited history, timer and manual entries, weekly overtime settings, reports, PDF/CSV exports, backup and restore, and data controls.

Pro adds unlimited active jobs, reusable shift templates, saved pay-statement comparisons, Repeat Last Entry, and a quick pay-period PDF shortcut. Existing work records and core exports remain accessible without an active Pro entitlement.

Choose Annual Pro or a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Any introductory trial is shown only when Apple confirms eligibility. Subscriptions renew unless canceled through your Apple account.

IMPORTANT

All pay amounts are gross estimates based on the hours, breaks, rates, rules, and adjustments you enter. EarnTrace does not calculate taxes, net pay, statutory wage entitlements, or money legally owed. This version uses USD. Confirm official payment details with your employer or client.
