Echo Journal - Voice Journal

Echo is a voice journal for people who never quite got journaling to stick.

Instead of a blank page and the pressure to write, you speak. A minute a day. No editing, no polishing, no anxiety over the perfect words — just your voice, exactly as it sounded on the walk home, before the meeting, or in the late-night quiet.

Then something soft happens. A week later, Echo plays your entry back. A month later, another. A year later, the passing thought you almost forgot becomes a time capsule you never meant to make.

WHY PEOPLE STAY WITH ECHO

— Talk, don't type. Done in the time it takes to make a cup of tea.
— Automatic transcripts. Search your voice, read it as text, or just listen.
— Moods, gently. Tag how you feel with a single tap. Build a picture of your months.
— Time-capsule playback. Rediscover past entries at the moments they'll mean the most.
— Reflections. Record a new entry in response to an old one. Watch a quiet conversation form with yourself.

DESIGNED TO BE KIND

— One gentle daily reminder. No streaks. No shame.
— Face ID lock. Your entries are yours only.
— On-device transcription. Your voice never leaves your phone.
— Dark, quiet interface. No feed, no notifications you didn't ask for.

FREE VS UNLIMITED

Free: entries up to 30 seconds, with the occasional ad.
Unlimited Recording (£5.49, one-time purchase): remove the 30-second cap, remove all ads, and speak for as long as you like.

PRIVACY, HONESTLY

Your entries live on your device. No cloud accounts. No servers reading your words. Just you and the small, patient archive you're quietly building of your own life.

Echo is for the mornings you can't find the words to write, the afternoons you almost said something, and the nights you'll want to hear back on a walk five years from now.

Start today. Speak for a minute. See what your future self hears.
