EchoScape is an iOS mobility companion built for blind and low-vision users, combining autonomous navigation, real-time obstacle awareness, route guidance, and scene description to help you walk more independently and with greater confidence.

Key Features:

Autonomous Walking Navigation (New):
Say or enter your destination, and EchoScape provides voice guidance for the whole trip, including turn prompts, distance updates, and off-route correction — so you can take on unfamiliar places with more confidence.

Real-Time Obstacle Awareness:
EchoScape helps detect and announce ground-level obstacles, upper-body obstacles, and, when conditions allow, certain traffic light states, to improve your awareness while walking.

Spatial Audio:
Stereo audio cues convey the direction and distance of objects so you can locate them by sound and react quickly.

Precise Route Following:
Record your frequent routes and get directional guidance with deviation correction.

Voice Route Notes:
Capture road details in your own voice — broken railings, temporary construction, tricky steps. EchoScape replays them automatically next time you pass by.

Scene Description:
AI vision describes your surroundings and nearby objects. Before the details, it tells you the street you are on, your heading, and nearby landmarks — so you know where you are first, then hear what is around.

On-Demand Model Download (New):
Scene description works instantly via the cloud. You can also download an on-device model for offline use — your choice.

Head Gesture Controls:
With supported AirPods models, you can control the app by tilting your head left or right, nodding, or shaking your head — without touching the screen. An optional chest-mounted or neck-worn phone holder can help keep the camera facing forward more reliably.

Multilingual & Accessible:
Available in 14 localizations: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, French, Spanish for Spain, Spanish for Latin America, Arabic, German, Korean, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, and Italian — with deep VoiceOver optimization.

Privacy & Offline Support:
Some core capabilities run on-device. Destination search, route planning, cloud scene description, and model downloads require an internet connection.
