Envelope Integrity Reporter

Efficient auditing is crucial for high-performing construction, especially in large projects. A key focus is ensuring the building’s air barrier aligns with the thermal barrier for optimal heating and cooling. eIR (Envelope Integrity Reporter) facilitates real-time, paperless reporting and cloud-based approvals for building envelope issues, even with minimal internet connectivity. This software has equal functionality in both mobile phone and web interfaces to pinpoint defects on a floor plan, minimizing onsite time for experts. It offers video instructions to help trades correct defects successfully, enhancing understanding and reducing rework. This data provides architects with practical insights. eIR aids in documenting blower door setups and air flows, supporting mechanical systems commissioning. Offline defect logging features allow trades to access precise location details and educational content for effective remediation. Inspection companies can also link to their training materials.

The EIR™ delivers fast collection of building performance defects (air tightness, Thermal consistency, Fire, and general weaknesses) that offer:
- Hybrid Online-Offline Mode – Allows audits to be conducted in poor mobile connectivity areas and inside buildings with poor internet connectivity.
- Flir thermal imaging camera compatibility, Flir One, Flir One Edge, and big Flir Cameras eXX and even t1040.

- Thermal imaging temperature markups
- Paperless, handheld operation.
- External Camera integration so that photos can be taken in hard-to-access areas.
- Paperless remediation process and approval process for how something has been remediated.
- Mark up exact locations of issues on a floor plan – with lines or even multiple specific spots off a floor plan.
- Fast Reporting – Managing remediation of defects
- Conduct fast Surveys with floor plan markup, to revisit what areas looked like before finishes were installed.
- Create a checklist to enable timely remediation of issues as the build progresses and creates statistical information that can be used for future builds.
- A prediction of a building’s leakage rate and insulation consistency before air leakage blower door testing.
- PDF reporting – connects to Web content or video media designated to typical issues, which gives trades
- Quoting tool – for organising trades to conduct remediation works
