ESP - EskomSePush

The power might be off, but the community is always on.

EskomSePush (ESP) is South Africa's most-loved app for tracking loadshedding and connecting with your local community. We give you accurate schedules and a space to talk to your neighbours, turning chaos into connection.

KNOW YOUR LOADSHEDDING SCHEDULE
Real Areas, Not Blocks: We use your actual suburb and area name, not confusing "blocks." Get the right schedule and notifications for your specific area.
Push Notifications: We’ll send you alerts and warnings before your loadshedding slot starts. Yes, this includes our infamous 55-minute heads-up!
Follow Multiple Areas: Keep track of home, work, or family members' suburbs with ease.

FIND OUT WHAT'S HAPPENING NEARBY
"Is It Just Me?": Power out unexpectedly? Jump into your area's chat to see if it's loadshedding or a local fault. Get answers from neighbours in real-time.
Local Community Chats: This is your space to connect. Chats are grouped by your suburb, so you're only talking to people nearby.
More Than Power: Share a heads-up about a water outage, report a pothole, or find out what that siren was. If it's happening in your neighbourhood, it's happening on ESP.

BUILT FOR CONNECTION, NOT NOISE

Focused & Local: ESP Chats aren't another noisy feed. They are focused spaces where what you share matters to the people reading it.
Safe & Simple: No admin gatekeepers. No phone numbers exposed. Just neighbours helping neighbours.
Community-Powered: You decide what's helpful. AI keeps things tidy in the background so you can focus on what matters.
Local problems need local action. We're building the foundation for South Africans to support each other and find solutions together.

Join the community that keeps South Africa connected, even when the lights go out.
