Open a saved entry to read the full conversation. When you begin another reflection, choose Continue this thought from a recent entry or start fresh. Reading and exporting previously saved reflections remain free. Export the full saved conversations as a text file to a location you choose. Completing a new reflection uses your free allowance or Premium access.

Weekly pages bring together the quotes you saved. You can also revisit your own reflection excerpts, with optional on-device suggestions linking related excerpts back to their original entries on supported Apple Intelligence devices.

No Ethos account is required. Your journal, favorites, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Reading and journaling work offline. AI features require Apple Intelligence to be enabled and ready on a supported device, with a downloaded model and supported language. Availability varies by language and region. The interface includes 28 language and region localizations; the bundled quote library is in English.

Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Your localized price, billing period, and any eligible annual trial duration and renewal price are shown before purchase. Trial eligibility is determined by the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings.
