ETHOS GLC

Everything you need to bring hands-on science to life—all in one place.

The GLC Teacher Platform is the teacher-only home of Grade Level Certified (GLC), the Pre-K–6 national science curriculum from ETHOS Innovation Center. Designed for educators at schools and districts using GLC, the app connects curriculum resources, professional learning, classroom ideas, and ongoing support wherever you teach.

GLC is built around a simple belief: children learn science best when they are doing, discovering, questioning, and connecting, not simply watching a screen. Students build, test, observe, measure, discuss, read, write, and problem-solve with real materials while teachers lead the learning.

The GLC Teacher Platform extends that experience by putting the digital side of GLC right at teachers' fingertips.

Inside the GLC Teacher Platform:

- Access your grade-level GLC units and resources in one place

- Watch instructional videos and explore phenomena resources

- Find jingles, animations, printables, and supplemental activities

- Access integrated ELA, math, literacy, and vocabulary resources

- Explore STEM career connections that help connect science to the real world

- Find Parent/Home Connections that extend learning beyond the classroom

- Participate in professional learning and ongoing teacher support

- Connect with other GLC educators to share ideas, classroom experiences, and best practices

- Ask questions and get support from the ETHOS GLC team

- Stay up to date as new resources and opportunities are added

But GLC is more than a resource library. It is a community.

Whether you're preparing for your first GLC lab or have been teaching GLC for years, the platform gives you a place to keep learning, collaborating, sharing, and growing alongside educators doing the same work.

GLC was created to make powerful science instruction engaging, effective, and manageable. Science is intentionally connected to literacy, ELA, math, vocabulary, real-world problem-solving, and STEM careers so students can make connections across the school day and beyond the classroom.

When science leads, learning connects.

And because great curriculum requires more than materials, GLC is designed to support teachers throughout implementation: with resources, training, professional learning, collaboration, and access to the ETHOS GLC team. The goal is simple: less planning, more support, stronger instruction, and more opportunities for students to learn through doing.

With GLC, you're not handed a curriculum and left to figure it out.

We walk with you.
