The multilingual and multimedia App Explain TB brings vital medical information about tuberculosis to your patient. You can select the necessary information from 41 educational chapters on all aspects of TB including diagnosis, treatment, prevention but also specific topics like TB in children or LTBI.

Get this information translated in your patient’s language – you can choose out of 36 different languages. Also, you can listen to audio versions of chapters for accessibility or watch videos in multiple languages. To create an individual information brochure for your patient, select the chapters you need, get them translated and print it out. For offline use you can also download information and audio commentaries.

This app does not replace a doctor. The responsibility for all treatment decisions stay in your doctors hands. The app just provides you with additional information to be a well educated partner during treatment.

All medical information within the Explain-TB app was put together by TB specialists, that are involved in the writing of German TB treatment guidelines. They are working for a non-profit organization.
