Mobile geomatic application is the result of operation Prekmurski turistični vrtiljak (Prekmurje Tourist Carousel), co-financed under submeasure 19.3 “Preparation and implementation of cooperation activities of the local action group” and with the financial support of European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.

Content of the application is the responsibility of the lead partner of LAG Goričko 2020, Bistra Hiša Martjanci - Smart House Martjanci. The managing authority appointed for the implementation of the Rural Development Programme for the period 2014-2020 is the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food.

About the application

The mobile application offers in one place a wide range of up-to-date information about local providers who offer local and traditional food and beverages, information about current and traditional events, and a presentation of natural and cultural heritage in the area of LAG Goričko 2020 and LAG With the kind people 2020.

The content of the mobile application is divided into following sections: Visit, Taste, Spend the night, Explore and Experience.

Section Visit offers (information about) current and traditional events in the area of LAG Goričko 2020 and LAG With the kind people 2020.

Prekmurje enthrals with its cuisine even a demanding guest, therefore the section Taste includes information about local restaurants that offer authentic homemade dishes, such as dödöli (potato dumplings with sour cream, pork cracklings and roasted onion), bograč (traditional stew made of at least 3 different sorts of meat), meso iz tünke (pork stored in minced lard), prekmurska gibanica (traditional layer cake made of poppy seeds, cottage cheese, walnuts and apples) and other delicacies. In this section you will also find local winemakers that offer their wines in wineries and wine cellars.

In the section Spend the night you can find boutique accommodations and tourist farms that will make you feel at home.
