Description
Eyeball It is a bunch of tools living on your phone just waiting for their day in the limelight. What day is that? Only time will tell, but as the saying goes, "the best tool is the one you have with you when you need it," someone said this surely.
Tools you get today:
How Loud? A real decibel meter. Reads your microphone, shows the level with a context phrase ("about like a vacuum cleaner") and a color zone bar. Tap to start; pegs a peak; saves the session. Calibrate against a known reference (premium) for better-than-eyeball accuracy.
How Level? A bubble level that auto-switches modes: lay your phone flat, you get a target scope. Stand it on edge, you get a classic tube level. Cross-axis-immune math means it stays accurate even when you're not. Calibrate per-edge to dial in your phone's bias (premium).
How Long? An AR ruler. Place two points in the camera view, get the distance. Tap-to-fine-tune lets you nudge a point without losing it. Snaps to detected planes for cleaner reads. Honest about its limits: without LiDAR, it's a smart estimate. With LiDAR (Pro devices), it's tight.
How Vibrating? A vibration meter. Set your phone on a washing machine, a railing, an idling engine, then hit record; it reads the accelerometer and shows how hard things are shaking, in g. A live seismograph scrolls while it listens, and Stop pegs the peak. Free recordings run 30 seconds; premium goes unlimited and adds a live frequency spectrum.
The name is the low-bar brand promise. The tools all do their best given your phone's hardware. Sometimes we're real accurate, other times we're using some complex math to literally eyeball it. We'll tell you which is which, in plain language.
What's free, what's paid: • Free: every tool in its baseline form, with ads. • $1.99/year per tool: unlocks calibration, history, and the rest of that tool's premium features. (Ads stay until you go all-in.) • $9.99/year for all tools: removes ads everywhere, family-shareable, and includes every new tool we add.
Subscriptions are annual and auto-renew unless you cancel; manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.pulsepointsolutions.com/eyeball-it/terms · Privacy Policy: https://www.pulsepointsolutions.com/eyeball-it/privacy
No account, no login, no tracking. The ads are non-personalized, so nobody's building a profile on you. Go all-tools and even the ads disappear. Permissions only when needed: microphone for How Loud?, camera for How Long?. How Level? and How Vibrating? need nothing. Sensors are free.
More tools coming. We've got four more in development; you'll find out when they ship.
Built by some consultants who need more work: PulsePoint Solutions, LLC. If something's broken or weird, it's our fault. Tap Settings → Support to tell us about it. We read everything... eventually.
